Spelling – Spelling Lesson 8 Pre-Test was given. The packet is due Thursday AM and the post-test is Friday.
Math – Went over the Ch. 2 Test. Students need to get them signed and returned Wednesday. We began Ch. 3 today. The chapter focuses on algebra. Pages 82 – 85 were assigned.
Soc. Studies – Students should be working on vocabulary and foldables. The Ch. 3 Test is Wednesday. Vocabulary is due at this time.

Writing – Imagery in reading. Students answered Focus Question #2 from “The Cay.” Also, students learned about dialect using examples from Timothy’s dialogue in the book.
