Writing – none

Spelling –   Spelling Lesson 8 Pre-Test was given. The packet is due Thursday AM and the post-test is Friday.

Math – Went over the Ch. 2 Test. Students need to get them signed and returned Wednesday. We began Ch. 3 today. The chapter focuses on algebra. Pages 82 – 85 were assigned.

Soc. Studies –    Students should be working on vocabulary and foldables. The Ch. 3 Test is Wednesday. Vocabulary is due at this time.

Science – none

Spelling –  Students turned in spelling packet this morning. The test is tomorrow.

Math – Ch. 2 review.  The Ch. 2 Test will take place next Friday.

Soc. Studies –    Review for next M0nday’s CH. 3 Test. The vocabulary sheet is due Monday.

Writing – Imagery in reading. Students answered Focus Question #2 from “The Cay.”  Also, students learned about dialect using examples from Timothy’s dialogue in the book.

Spelling –   Spelling packet is due Thursday AM and the post-test is tomorrow.

Math – Began review for the Ch. 2 Test.. Te Ch. 2 Test will take place next Friday.

Soc. Studies –    Students should be working on vocabulary and foldables this weekend. The Ch. 3 Test will be next week Monday. Vocabulary is due at this time.

Science – Finished up roller coaster presentations.

Reading – Time For Kids magazine and packet was collected this morning. Chapter 3 & 4 was assigned. Worked on using imagery in reading.

Writing – Imagery in reading.

Spelling –  Took the Lesson 7 pre-test. Students received a Spelling packet focusing on suffixes. This is due Thursday AM.

Math – Assigned Lesson 2.11 pages 78 & 80. The Ch. 2 Test will take place next Friday.

Math – Checked Lesson 2.10 pages 75 – 77. The Ch. 2 Test will take place next Friday.

Reading – Read Ch. 2 of The Cay. Students completed a poster that displayed and defined a term they received from the teacher. These terms were then researched on the iPad. Posters will be displayed tomorrow for a follow-up activity.
