Bulletin Board

10 points per item (max. 2 items per quarter)

Bring in an economics related picture (must be in color) or something similar that we can put on our bulletin board in the classroom. Also, be ready to explain to me what economics term it is an example of. For instance…I took a picture of the shortage sign at Wal-Mart and put it up on the bulletin board or you could bring in something like the McDonald’s French Fry container I have stapled up there right now. It is an example of the term incentive because it encourages you to buy larger fries to get more Monopoly game pieces.

Monthly Budget with Parents

25 Points Extra Credit

Complete a monthly budget with your parents. Use this Monthly Budget Form linked here. You do not need to complete the actually spent column or percent of take home pay column. The purpose of this assignment is for you to sit down and talk to your parents about the importance of telling each of your hard earned dollars what you want it to do. This budget must be completed with your parent and include a statement and signature from your parent that this was completed together.
