Students went over the review worksheets in preparation for the unit test. Students are strongly encouraged to invest part of the Memorial weekend studying for the test, which will be on Tuesday when we return.

Chapter 12 questions were checked and collected. Students were given time to work on their review worksheets in their groups. All three are due tomorrow.

Students in 2nd hour checked Chapter 10 questions in class, which was then collected for a grade. Students were given the remainder of the hour to complete their open book quiz over Chapters 6-9. Students submitted Chapter 8 questions for a grade. Students read Chapter 9 orally in class and were given the remainder of the hour to complete their guided reading questions and discuss the close and critical reading sections for Chapters 6-9. No additional homework was assigned.
The grammar quiz was checked and collected. Students read the second half of Chapter 8 and went over questions #13-23 in class. For homework, students need to complete all of the questions for Chapter 8; due tomorrow.
Students received the guided reading questions for Chapter 8 and read the first half of the chapter together.
