February 28, 2014: Meet the Olympians!!

Tomorrow is the first day of March and that means we start celebrating March is Reading Month. We have many fun things planned for this special month. Your child should have brought home 4 different notes regarding things that are going on this month. Our theme this year is the Olympics….Go For the Gold!!! February 28, 2014: Book Treasure Book

Sunday is Dr. Seuss’s birthday. In honor of that, we read The Cat in the Hat as our book treasure book today. Students should have brought home a retelling sheet, envelope and a Dr. Seuss foam piece. Retelling sheets and envelopes are due back to school by Tuesday. If you would like to listen to the story again before you write your retelling, just watch the video below of Justin Bieber reading the book.

February 24, 2014: Spelling~Unit 17

This week we are working on Unit 17 in Spelling. Today, your child should have brought home their pretest and homework sheet. Please remember that spelling homework is due back by Friday each week.
