December 21, 2012: Mystery Reader

Our Mystery Reader last Friday was Adele’s mom. They kids were really excited when she walked into the room. She read us a wonderful story called,  The Giving Tree. She also brought us in some yummy marshmallow Christmas trees. A HUGE thank you to Adele’s mom for coming in to read to us.

December 11, 2012: Mystery Reader

Last Friday, the kids were very excited when they found out that Kaden’s mom was going to be our Mystery Reader. She read us a book called, Scooby Doo and the Mummy’s Curse. She also brought us in some yummy Scooby Snacks to eat. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Young for being our Mystery Reader.

November 2, 2012: Mystery Reader

The kids were really excited to see that Molly’s mom was our Mystery Reader today. She read us the wonderful story, If You Give a Moose a Muffin. She also brought us in a yummy muffin snack. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Vander Hagen for being our Mystery Reader today.

October 29, 2012: Mystery Reader

Everyone was really excited, especially Kaden, when they found out his dad was coming in to be our Mystery Reader. He read us a wonderful story called, Pick a Dad, Any Dad. He also brought us in some yummy donuts. Thank you Mr. Young!!

October 21, 2012: Mystery Reader

Everyone was really excited to see that Molly’s grandma was our Mystery Reader on Friday. She read us a wonderful book called, Humbug Witch. She also brought us in a yummy witch’s hat treat. A HUGE thank you to Molly’s grandma for being our Mystery Reader!

October 14, 2012: Mystery Reader

On Friday, we had our second Mystery Reader come in. The kids were really excited to find out that Jason’s mom was coming in to read to us. She read us a Sponge Bob story. A HUGE thank to to Jason’s mom for coming in and reading to us!

September 21, 2012: Mystery Reader

Today, we had our first Mystery Reader. All of the students were VERY excited to find out that our principal, Mr. Metty was our first Mystery Reader. He read us two wonderful stories, A Crazy Day at the Critter Cafe and Joseph Had a Little Overcoat. A very BIG thank you to Mr. Metty for coming in and reading to us today!!

September 21, 2012: Mystery Reader

We will be having a Mystery Reader come in to read to us beginning in October. We usually have the Mystery Reader come at 12:45 on Fridays. It can be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, big brothers/sisters or anyone else that might want to read to us. Below is a list of a few of the dates that are still open. If you are interested, or have a family member that is interested, please let me know by sending me an email or a note in your child’s green folder. Remember that it is a secret, so please don’t let your child know that you are coming. We have several more dates available after Christmas, and I will be posting them later in the year.

OPEN DATES: Oct. 19 & 26, Nov. 16 & 30, Dec. 7 & 14

April 8, 2012: Mystery Reader

Before we went on break, Sophia’s sister Sydney came in to be our Mysery Reader. Sydney was a student in my class last year, and everyone was really excited to have her read to us. She read a wonderful book called There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Chick. She also brought us each a chocolate heart sucker and an Easter activity booklet. Thanks Sydney!!!

March 22, 2012: Mystery Reader

Last Friday, Jill’s sister came in to be our Mystery Reader. A HUGE thank you to her for taking time out of her busy day to come in and read to us!!
