We read a book every Friday. Then the children get a “treasure” to help them remember the story. The “treasure” goes in their treasure box at home that they made. They also get a retelling sheet and an envelope that is returned to school every Tuesday. They have to do a written retelling of the story.
I see they made treasure composition books. Do they do something with their treasure book that goes with the treasure story that you read, or is that where they do the summary?
