Book Review: The Lightening Thief

News just in!!!! I just read The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan in 6 days!!!!!!!!! It was 375 pages long. Let me tell you, for the record, it was THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!! It was about the Greek gods fighting over Zeus’ (the god of the sky) master lightning bolt. Percy Jackson (the son of Poseidon (god of the sea) is sent on a quest to find the thief and return the bolt to Zeus (because he is the suspect) by the summer solstice which is 10 days away. Annabeth (the daughter of Athena (god of battle strategy) Grover (who is half human and half goat A.k.A Satyr) and Percy, travel to St. Louis, and encounter a Lizard woman and her gigantor attack Chihuahua, then they travel to the “Lotus Casino” and accidentally stay there for 5 days. They then travel to the underworld, assuming that Hades (the god of the underworld) stole the bolt. When they got there, Hades said he did NOT have the bolt. On they’re way back to camp half blood, Percy checked his backpack (because it kept getting heavier) that Ares (the god of war) gave him, and, sure enough, it was there!!!!! He was so mad that he went to Ares and fought him sword on sword. Percy caught Ares off guard and defeated him within about 10 minutes of the match. He then traveled to mount Olympus (the home of the gods, not including Hades) and returned the bolt just a few hours before the summer solstice!!!!!!!! When he got back to camp half blood, Annabeth, Grover, and Percy had a huge feast in they’re honor. That is pretty much the summary I wanted to give all you viewers. And if that’s the story, then……………………………………I’M OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SEE YA ALL LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
