About Mrs. Descamps

The 2012-2013 school year will start my eleventh year of teaching. I spent the first 6 years as Ms. Rodzik:-). I have taught both 1st and 2nd grade at Eisenhower Elementary. I graduated from Wayne State University in 2002 and earned my Master’s degree from Marygrove College in 2004.

I grew up in Fraser. I’m the oldest of three children. My mom still lives in the city and I’m happy to have her so close. I feel very lucky to have married my wonderful husband July 2008. We have two children. Our son’s name is Aaron. He was born in Sept. 2009. Our daughter was born in Aug. 2011. Her name is Catherine (Katie). They definitely keep us busy, but I do love being a mommy!

I feel very privileged to be a teacher at Eisenhower. The staff is amazing. They are wonderfully commited to education and to the children we work with on a daily basis. My teaching partners and I work very closely together to ensure all 1st graders are receiving the best services to meet their needs. Another great thing about Eisenhower is that I was also a student there. From kindergarten to 6th grade, I’ve been proud to be an Eisenhower Eagle!!!
