Welcome to Room 502! 

  My name is Shannon Descamps. I feel very fortunate to be a member of the teaching staff here at Eisenhower Elementary. I grew up in Fraser and attended Eisenhower as a student. I have first hand knowledge about the dedication, professionalism, and expertise of the teachers, support staff, and our principal. New families to our school community soon discover that our goal is to work together to provide all children with successful learning experiences.

     Every year your child’s education becomes more important to his or her future success in life. I feel very strongly that a child’s success is based not only upon their own abilities, but upon the abilities of their teachers and the guidance they receive from family. Teachers and families must work as partners to ensure success.

     I am looking forward to a wonderful and exciting school year. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. Remember that praise is vital to your child’s success. Praise your child often. Please don’t expect your child to be the best, but do expect them to be or do their best!
