Pankow Horticulture Blog was appealing to me because I adore flowers and trees. I grew up in New York City and used to go to the Botanical garden in Brooklyn New York as a young student in school with my teacher. It sparked a curiosity in horticulture for me. I know live in North Carolina and have a house. I have planted 20 trees and have a garden that I love and enjoy. I am learning about the earth and soil and it is very relaxing and gratifying. Horticulture is a beautiful thing for all people. I believe children should be exposed to horticulture at an early age to appreciate the significance of the earth and the impotence of preserving it for all to enjoy.
