A Special Delivery from Scotland!

We were so excited today because we received some very special mail. It was a large envelope from

.

Mrs. Stewart and the P3S Superst☆rs!

.

Inside we found a postcard reminder that the Superst☆rs  use when they are writing to a Postcard Pal. Mrs. Stewart knew that we liked her idea so she decided to send one to us. We thought that was very kind! We will certainly put it to good use.

But that wasn’t all we found in our envelope. We received a very special book created by the Superst☆rs. It is called Flat Stanley Visits Primary 3S.

Many of our blog buddies from around the world have been learning and sharing so much through the Flat Stanley books.

Click HERE for some Flat Stanley fun!

We thought this idea was fabulous! This unique book shares maps about Scotland, which really helps us with our geography.

It was so nice to see pictures of the Superst☆rs and Mrs. Stewart, too.

We learned many facts about Arbroath with Flat Stanley as our guide.  We think that Kerr’s Miniature Railway looks like fun!

We can’t wait to learn more about our friends’ very special country!

Thank you!

  1. Isn’t the postcard project lovely. You’re right about a lot of people using ‘Flat Stanley’.
It looks like it might be wobbly tooth time with this group of children.
What do the children think is more exciting:
    1:Being skyped ?
    2: Receiving post ?
When I was little I loved coming back from holiday, because on the door mat would be a pile of post, including, my favourite, postcards. It is very rare to get a postcard now. Does anyone collect stamps? Did any of their grandads and grannies collect stamps?

  2. Hello Techie Kids. Mrs Stewart and the Superstars here. It is very exciting to see ourselves on someone else’s blog. We think it is the first time!!
We are glad you liked our Flat Stanley Book. It looks very good in the folder you have put it into.
Kerr’s Miniature Railway is great fun. It is very famous here in Arbroath.
Do you think you would like to taste an Arbroath Smokie? That is something else Arbroath is famous for.
Speak to you again soon. P3S Superstars
