Well, that was fun. Today, we were able to meet Mrs. Monaghan’s class in England through Skype. During our blogging conversations, we discovered words we didn’t know and items we hadn’t heard before. We found out that we sometimes call the same things by different names. So, we decided to play a game of International More >

Don’t you know that it’s all about the genres? The Techie Kids do. One of my favorite Dr. Seuss books is Fox in Socks. I just love the silly tongue twister tales. Let’s have some fun in the style of this awesome author by writing and reading some of our own. Hi Techie Kids
I love your Camp Readmore… but what I would like to know is… did you stay in school all night or did you create a nighttime during the day for your camp? It all looked very exciting! Did you even put up tents? Was it an indoor or an outdoor camp?
We are reading Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief as our class book this term. It’s quite a thick book! Some of us have seen the film, but lots of us haven’t. We are studying the Greeks so it fits in with our topic, and we LOVE Greek myths so we’re totally GRIPPED! Have you read the book or seen the film? What do you think of it?
