Are you ready for another year of Techie fun?
I hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer and are ready to dig in. This year I will be teaching in 2 new buildings. I’ll also be adding on 3 new grade levels to our adventures. This year’s new Techie Kids will be in 1st through 8th grade. I can’t wait to get started! For all of our new elementary and middle school friends, let’s start by taking a look around. Share some of the things you notice with a classmate. Take a look at the menu in the toolbar above. You can visit the Michigan tab or hover your mouse over Awesome Websites. Click on any categories you are interested in. You can also scroll down to see a Sqworl. A Sqworl is a collection of websites organized in a way that you can see a thumbnail preview of the site before you click on it. Out first exploration will be Internet Safety. Click on the Internet Safety Sqworl and try out some of the websites. You can also listen to the Voki found below.

Hi Techie Kids!
It’s good to see you back on your blog. It’s the start of our new term too here in England, and we’ve been learning about internet safety as well, using Childnet’s KnowITall. I love your internet safety Sqworl – we will check out some of your favourite sites too!

Hey, Mrs.Moore its me Claire from last year in 5th grade! 6th grade is so much fun, sadly I don’t have technology as a elective this year. I just wanted to see how your doing this year. Also, what grade and district are you teaching now? What are you doing with those classes? ( I know last year we had so much fun stuff to do that we didn’t have time for, I hope you can do that for the new classes)
Are you doing web cams with other teachers that are on Techie Kids? Anyways, this year we learned more about Internent Saftey and how EVERYONE SHOULD THINK BEFORE YOU POST:
1.) Is this to informational about me?
2.) Is this going to hurt someone?
3.) Should I put a picture of myself on a website ( FaceBook, Instigram, e.c.t)
