Hear-All Recorder

We received a HearALL Assessment Recorder from Learning Resources. It is a very cool tool! Our classroom teachers have put it to good use. It was used in dramatic play centers, literature circles, and learning centers. The 4 directional microphones make it a perfect fit for small group recordings. It was very valuable to listen back to the conversations and hear what each student had to say. We also loved using this recorder for sharing directions in a center that’s separate from the teacher. It made our learning “rewindable.” 🙂

Easi-Speak Microphone

We’ve been using our awesome Easi-Speak Microphone in our classrooms.

It has been so much fun! Listen in on some of our students as they practiced their reading fluency, spelling words, and math facts.

Their favorite part was being able to listen to it right away from the built in speakers. We also imported these recordings using the built-in USB, into Audacity to practice editing the audio files and using them in other applications like Photo Story 3 and Windows Movie Maker.

We are so thankful that Learning Resources has given us this helpful technology! It’s been easy to put it to good use in our regular classroom settings, even for our not-so-tech-savvy teachers. 🙂 It’s a valuable addition to our daily activities.

We are so thankful!

Luna Interactive Projection Camera

Our classes have been loving a new piece of technology in our lab.

Learning Resources has given us a Luna Interactive Projection Camera and we have found so many ways to put it to good use! Take a look…

We’ve used our Luna for choral reading,

Reading a single copy of a postcard,

Keyboarding instruction,

Up close looks at our cords,

And our digital cameras.

It was so nice to share something small with the whole group at the same time. Instead of repeating the information 30 times with each student standing next to the camera, we can share close up directions of each camera’s features all at once.

.
This device can also record video. Here’s a short recording made special for our Kindergarten Techie Kids.
