2. President Obama thinks that American school kids don’t go to school enough. For a variety of reasons he has suggested that we add at least 50 more days to the school calendar.
3. What do you think?
4. Let’s put ourselves in his shoes for a minute and ask why might he make this suggestion. He even said his two girls hate the idea so why do you think he would even suggest it?
We first asked school kids what they thought and discovered:
98% hated the idea
1% loved the idea.
1% didn’t care.
No surprises there.
When we asked the parents what they thought of the idea, we discovered:
97% loved the idea.
2% hated it.
1% didn’t care.
Wow!
When we asked the teachers what they thought, this is what we discovered:
98% hated the idea
1% loved the idea.
1% didn’t care.
Interesting.

Should Congress pass a law that school kids in America should go to school for at least 50 more days?

I think kids shouldn’t have to go to school 50 more days because…..
According to the data I have ….. agree with me.
Congratulation Abby and Dylan for making student counsel! Yesterday Abby and Dylan were elected student counsel. The day before that we all voted for who was going to be student counsel. I hope they do a good job. Then they announced it they were exited to get the news. They were elected student counsel last year so they have some experience so that’s good.
He’s got a big grin on his face because he is the first one in the class to beat Mr. Alvaro at 3-5-7. Lots of people have tried, he’s the only one this year to do it? His prize was a slurpy.
