As soon as you are finished playing this game you need to check out the post right below. NiK, from Mr. Austin’s class found an online version of 3-5-7 to play.
While playing that game I found today’s game.
Remember last week in our Five Themes of Geography lesson we talked about Location? We discovered that every spot on the face is the Earth has a specific location and we can find those locations by using latitude and longitude. We call that absolute location. The absolute location of New Baltimore is 42° 40′ 52″ N, 82° 44′ 13″ W.
A fun way to use the idea of absolute location is Battleships.
(This just in, I found another version of the game Battleships here.)
Click on the links and give them both a try.

If you didn’t watch TV last night then you missed the news coverage of the big local story. A boy named Matt, who had climbed a tree to steal honey from some bees had a near death experience.
Actually, we are reading the Sign of the Beaver and I asked everyone to read chapter five and share it as a newscast. I think you are going to like them a lot.
A special shout out to Hunter who recorded the podcasts for us.
To hear the podcast you need to click on the blue box.

Natalia brought this awesome book to class the other day. I read it and thought it would be great to share with you guys. Little did I know that later in the week we would be asked to send Christmas cards to a couple of soldiers serving our country overseas.
So I read it to you and you made some great cards that I mailed off today. The cards were great and isn’t it neat to do something for someone .

Not many of you know this but one of my best friends is Alvin the Chipmunk. We grew up together on the same street. He lived in the house two doors down from me. We did all kinds of things together. Over the years we drifted apart and went our own separate way.
Image my surprise when I saw him last year in his first hit movie. He’s quite the mouse. Here is the trailer for this years movie.
