Sabrina and Katrina are in Chicago.

n

I just got this post from the girls, they are in Chicago, the Windy City.

Hey Mr.Alvaro!,

I am in Chicago! Their are lots of lights! I went to Navy Pier, and the Field museum. But Shedd’s aAuarium was my favorite. They had sharks, sting rays, Alaska sea otters, and penguins. They also had sea lions, white sided dolphins, and Beluga whales! But my favorite was…NICKEL THE SEA TURTLE!!! He is named that because he ate a nickel. He got hit by a motor boat. He swims funny, but he is hurt bad.Well it is late so I am going to bed.

Bye,
Sabrina

Edublog Awards

news

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving vacation half as much as I am enjoying mine.  We are down in Emmaville having a great time.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I nominated Mr. Baker and his class for having the best class blog of the year.  The people over at Edublogs are looking for the coolest blogs around and I think theirs is awesome.

UNFAIR

My name is Dylan.

This week’s  poem is by Shel Silverstein and it is called UNFAIR:

They don’t allow pets in this apartment.

That’s not decent, that’s not fair.

They don’t allow pets in this apartment.

They don’t listen, they don’t care.

I told them he’s quiet and never does bark.

I told them he would do all his stuff in the park.

I told them he’s cuddly and friendly and yet-

They don’t allow pets.
