Christmas is Coming

I know it’s hard to believe but Christmas is only a couple of weeks away. Where did the time go. It seems like only yesterday summer was over and school was starting.
Anyway, I know that a lot of you usually get a gift for your teacher at Christmas time and are tempted to do it again this year.
Well, I have a request. I already have a ton of stuff and all that I need so I was thinking that it would great idea that instead getting a gift for me you did something different this year.
You might:
> write me a note about how you are enjoying fifth grade this year.
>help out someone else this year. Maybe a neighbor or relative needs help. Maybe you could shovel their snow or help them with a chore.
>get involved in a community project at your church.
>earn some extra money and donate it to charity
>come up with an idea of your own to help someone else out.
