Telling Time Game

We have been working on telling time. We need to be able to tell time in 5 minute intervals-and right now it is a little challenging for most of us.  Thanks to Mrs. Short for finding a time game!!!  Just click on the picture below to get to the website. Once there, click on level 3, that is the level that has the 4 different types of time that we practiced in class.

Book Treasure-Plump and Perky Turkey

This week we read the story The Plump and Perky Turkey. In very funny rhyming story, Pete, the turkey outsmarts the townsfolk of old-time Squawk Valley as they mask their quest for a Thanksgiving entre with the premise of needing a feathered model for a themed arts-and-crafts fair. Please click below the picture to listen to the story.

Please have your child retell the story to you and fill out the treasure response form.  Forms are due every Friday.

A naked turkey came home on Tuesday. Your child needs to dress up their turkey just like Pete, to hide him/herself. We are going to participate in a video conference with a class in Texas to share our turkeys with eachother.
